I'm a little late in noticing, but the good blog Pharmalot shut down earlier this month. Pharmalot was one of the best places for info related to pharma industry biz that shaded into criminality, and I'll miss the hard work of writer Ed Silverman in putting that news out into the world.
This comes as I'm trying to figure out what the heck to do with this blog now that I no longer really have time to post regularly. Decision, decisions...
May I suggest the Psychwatch blog? Sickmind Fraud [sic] explores the quackery that is the modern psychological/psychopharmaceutical industry. http://psychwatch.blogspot.com

Thanks for the suggestion. I'll check it out. On the flipside, though, I have friends and family who have been helped rather dramatically by "the modern psychological/psychopharmaceutical industry," so it strikes me as much too simple to suggest that it's all a con, or something of that sort.

Alex, I prefer your occasional posts--level-headed, intelligent, humorous--to the neverending rants of lesser lights. Cut back, if you must, but don't go cold turkey, please!
