The Los Angeles Times notes that YouTube has added a "community guideline" related to videos showing "drug abuse." The guidelines, which can be found here, say "Don't post videos showing bad stuff like animal abuse, drug abuse, under-age drinking and smoking, or bomb making."
As both Pete of Drug WarRant and the LA Times note, it's not exactly clear what "drug abuse" means in that sentence, especially as it pertains to videos of people using legal drugs like salvia divinorum, dextromethorphan or, to take the most obvious one, alcohol.

Obviously YouTube has a right to host or not host whatever it wants. However, I personally think it's a shame to remove this kind of content because doing so undercuts one of YouTube's real strengths, which is its ability to document politically important issues that are generally absent from the mainstream media. Of course, it's also an odd choice for YouTube to single out "drug abuse" as a category of "bad stuff" that it will not host while it continues to host animal attack videos, police pursuits, and clips of Sarah Palin.

all that money we now spend on the drug war should cover it ...its time to hold the authors accountable in a world court ot a grand jury .
even as this creation was handed down from one adminisration to the next they all were aware of the war concencual crimminals were attacked and destroyed even clinton is not without blame in all this why didnt he just say war over go get a real job berry you cant be a czar ...he didnt because he is in on it and also should totally be held accountable not to mention the killing of innocent children at waco this tool to devide and destroy america is serving its in fact very effective but has grown and is now on the brink of an out of control monster ravaging our entire country bit by bit.
these true terror experts attack us while saying all along they are defending us. to reclaim our future from this hideous creation peacefully we all have to stand side by side and make it clear we know .
after that if they dont drop a nuetron bomb on us. they can drop the charade wow i bet after keeping up the lie all this time thats gonna feel good ...perpetual peace is possible but the powerfull indurial war machine never wants that to enter the public mind.
just imagine living together in perpetual peace exploring space with a real sense of awakening and exploration.after all this damage it wont be easy recliming our lost brothers and sisters who have been locked away but if we dont are we gonna lose the one great idea thats gonna advance us before its to late or will we be just a step behind to petty quarlsome or apethetic to be caught totally anaware as it slowly winds down sorta like the bleak future painted in the movie idiocracy
